I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, artist and creative thinker based in Bournemouth on the south coast of England.
I began designing commercially whilst still at college in the 1980’s – a time when Rotring pens, Pantone markers, A3 sketchpads, Letraset and spray mount were some of the tools of the trade.
Over the last 26 years I have worked mostly on a freelance basis, designing for a variety of clients ranging from large corporates to small startups and individuals.
As a result I have gained experience in most facets of design and I’ve also been fortunate to work with some excellent people.
A cross section of these client projects are presented in the Work section of this website.
I present and promote my own creative projects under the moniker ‘Offset’.
This started life as a few experimental art collaborations to ‘offset’ the more corporate graphic design work I was involved with.
Gradually I found myself focussing more on my own personal work, which also led to the production of a variety of digital resources made available for other creative people to incorporate in their own projects. These include illustrations, halftones, textures, letterpress characters, fonts, vintage ephemera graphic symbols and geometric elements which are all available from my website Collective Offset .
A selection of my digital resources are also available via Creative Market
The Offset Facebook page features latest project and product updates.
I’m always open to new projects, interesting proposals and collaborations, so if you have something in mind that you’d like to discuss, why not get in touch!
